Shot Blasting

The Process

Abrasive blasting is the process of propelling abrasive particles from a blast machine, using the power of compressed air. Converting abrasive particles and compressed air into an effective cleaning treatment. Blasting the surface removes un-wanted material and leaves a surface ready for coating, painting or bonding.

We do Shot Blasting of, Motorcycle Frames, Quad Frames, Truck Wheels, Engine Parts, Lawn Furniture and many other items.

MOTORCYCLE & QUAD TANK REPAIRS

OUR PROCESS:

We steel shot blast back down to white metal. All rust must be eliminated before work can begin. All holes are filled with brass.   We air and water test after each  process. We add  a liner to prevent future rusting. The surfaces must be perfectly clean inside and outside for the liners to adhere. To achieve this we blast all tanks back down to white metal.  This ensures that all contaminates have been removed and the tank is ready for the next process.

Please note:

If any previous liners have been used in the tank they must be burned out………this eliminates the option of saving the exterior paint.  There is no product that will permanently adhere to rust!!!  So do not compound your problem by adding any liner on top of the rust.

Motorcycle & Quad tanks can be repaired and lined on the inside to prevent rust from causing carburetor problems.
